1. Save a spreadsheet
Save a spreadsheet that was created and edited in Excel. In Excel, when the application is interrupted, you must save or otherwise lose the job. When you save, the worksheet is saved as a file on your computer. You can then open the file, change it and print it.
Save a spreadsheet in the following steps.
Click the Save button (Save button).
Click the Save button on the Quick Access toolbar.
Specify the location where you want to save the worksheet.
Specify the location where you want to save the file.
Specify the location where you want to save the worksheet in the Save in box. The selected Documents folder is displayed.
By default, book1 is entered in the File Name box.
In the File Name box, “Book1” appears.
To change the file name, type a new file name.
Type a new file name and click Save.

Review the location where the file was saved.
Click the Start Button (Start button), and then click Documents.

2. Open a spreadsheet
Open the newly saved file. Opening the file allows you to resume the job.
Open the spreadsheet file using the following steps.
Click Start Button (Start button), and then click Documents.
The saved file is located in the Documents folder.
Confirm that the saved file is in the Documents folder.
Double-click the file.
The Excel home screen appears and the spreadsheet is displayed.
The Excel Home screen appears.
A worksheet appears.
Tip: You can also use the Open Office button
When you click the Excel File tab, the Open command is located on the menu that appears. You can use Open to open a spreadsheet.
Click the File tab, and then click Open.
Click Open on the File tab.
Click the open worksheet, and then click Open.
Select the worksheet that you want to open, and then click Open.
Tip: You can also open the spreadsheets you recently saved from “History”.
